my "jumble garden".
Jun. 6th, 2011 02:20 pmOne of my nasturtiums cozying up to some geranium flowers in my little hillside jumble garden. The nasturtiums have not flowered yet - except for one of them which got kind of banged up in the storm this past weekend. It was/is Brrright Orange. Maybe more will open soon (but not too soon to bore everyone). I want to put some nasturtiums in a big pot, because I like their long graceful stems under the round leaves - so art nouveau. ("Linear" is one of my great visual delights.) I want to take some shots of the stems from below looking up - maybe imagine them to be like slender Monterey Cypress trees are (or some eucalyptus trees) but with a big single leaf canopy. This would not be so appealing a task to attempt in the muddy garden.

Date: 2011-06-07 07:03 pm (UTC)Now that I have responsibility for my own little space, I have found out that doing ANYTHING in dirt is not all that much fun! I dunno what I was thinking. Then, when you have got the dirt sorted, comes the issue of watering, and the hoses that twist up and kink and won't water!! It exhausts me!! I always wanted life to be like my computer with its drag and drop, copy and paste, search and organise. Why must real life be so HARD! D:
