I like that one - it's like a cross between an old postcard and a film still from the primitive period of cinema or something.

This one was taken through the windshield of my pick-up, and it was just after the rain had stopped. There was a reflection of my hand on the steering wheel that was like a ghost image in the lower center left. The reflection continues up through the middle of the picture - or maybe it is some condensation. Anyway, I couldn't seem to clean it up, and finally decided to go for the effect that you just described. I'm glad you like it. I do too. Plus, last night I was looking at my book of photos by Robert Frank, and he did some very dark and grainy, blurred images. Maybe when I woke up, this highway image had formed itself as I slept. Thanks Mr. Frank.
