I wonder if the cows get cold.

if they get cold, they can go into the barn. They generate a lot of heat and in the middle ages, the cows lived downstairs while the farm family lived above. The cow heat warmed the upstairs. It probably smelled like a barn, but at least it was free heat. I am sure cows get cold. Sometimes they freeze up in Minnesota.
