I forgot to ask if the pictures you say came from Photobucket are in a public album that others could see? I have a friend on another site who loves The Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate. He also lives there. He would adore your photos.
I don't know much about photobucket. I've been using them for hosting my pics for a long time and there are probably several thousand in there - just the ones that I have posted here and in LJ. I don't know if they are in a public thing or not. It says that people visit them, but they never leave comments (although I don't know if that is possible, or where to look for any comments). Maybe the people who have visited are me over the years.
A lot of people seem to have problems with photobucket. I have never had a problem with them, and so I am not too inclined to mess with it... "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" kind of simple minded sort of thing.
And anyway, photography is just for fun for me. My daily posts give me enough satisfaction. If people want to look, my journal is open. I've always been lacadaisical in this particular fashion.
