Thanks, tyger. I did it in 2 sittings. I was waiting for Diana one day and did the hedge in front of Carli's only before she got there: one minute. A few days later I was waiting for her again, sat on the steps and looked across the street, and remembered this sketch I'd started. I went inside and got the checkbook, and finished it just as she arrived: three minutes. So, total 4 minutes. That's one of the reasons I like these small check book sketchbooks. They're good for quick ideas with no muss, no fuss. I like the ephemeral nature of the whole purpose of these papers too, the extending of their usefulness and adding meaning. Value discovered in the worthless.
