These are the two bridges that cross the Carquinez Strait at the mouth of the Sacramento River. Crockett, California is to the right and Vallejo would be to the left. I took this from Mare Island which is across the Napa River from Vallejo. Both rivers empty into the San Pablo Bay which is the northern part of the San Francisco Bay. The closer, newer suspension bridge takes traffic westward (and south to San Francisco - 30 miles away) while the old cantilever bridge takes traffic east (for about 3,000 miles). The highway is I-80 which goes all the way across the US from roughly NY to San Francisco.
That bridge icon of yours is, of course, the suspension bridge section of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge taken from the upper deck heading south into SF, and is the western terminus of I-80.
