Lot number 10060794 on the Saturday auction a few weeks ago was this c. 1830 Thomas Tomkison mahogany square piano, royal piano maker to the British court, marked: 'T TOMKISON 5593, Dean Street, Soho, London'. The estimates were $200-400 with bidding starting at $100. The piano did not appear in the prices realized PDF, so it did not sell (probably it didn't reach it's reserve, or maybe it is a wreck). Maybe next month it will have lower estimates, maybe the bidding start at $50. I'll have to take a look at it then to see if it is in working order.

Here is what one sounds like.
After a little google searching, I think this auction piano is c. 1815, not 1830.
