Two little beauties came from cobaltika today. (Also a surprise "little green house on the Kansas prairie" photo.) I put these two up there by the plugs where I recharge all my battery powered things, like cameras and drills and stuff. The 'cobalties' look good in that spot, and I will see them often, as I also have the coffee machine plugged in right there. That's my wooden spoon holder thing I made too.

Change of plans: I'm going to unhook this from the wall and place it just below, on the counter right behind where I have had this little brass and wood model of a cannon that my Great Uncle Al made for me when I was an early teen. He knew I was real interested in the Civil War during the centennial from 1960-1965. He's the one that was wounded in WW1. I often think about him.
