I'd never been to Calistoga before. It's a very nice little town with most of it's hundred year old buildings and houses still in use and well kept up. This little place 70 miles north of San Francisco, with about 5 or 6 K population is thriving. It is famous for hot springs, geothermal mud baths, and the mineral water.
