I particularly like the last one - because it conveys so much with so few lines.

Thanks. That's why I like quick poses best, because I just start adding more stuff that I don't really care about the longer I have. I think drawings should look like drawings, not renderings. One gets the most amount of relevant information in the shortest possible time, with the most economical means. There is an absolute law of diminishing returns for me in the execution of drawings. I think I am unusual in this. Most of the people I have met in drawing classes like the longer poses best. I think it is a different part of the brain in use from quick informative sketch to "finished" drawings.
