egg_shell (@lj) is always showing her work table off; here is one of mine. That green thing is my new scroll saw. It's a cheapie, but is getting the job done. *The job* is for one of my clients, who has just gotten an art residency in Mendocino for 6 months. She asked me to make 60+ round panels of various diameters that she will paint pictures on. Lots of hand work making these - it's why I bought the scroll saw. When finished they will float off the wall about 3/4".

You can see the rasps and a screw driver on the bench, along with some sand paper, a black jigsaw, and my ear protectors. (I had the dust mask on when I took the picture.) The little plastic tube coming out of the top of the scroll saw directs a slight current of air at the workpiece under the pressure foot when sawing, blowing the dust away so one can see their pencil line. Very nice.
