I just happened to be passing by and saw these two guys and the cat, but I think probably the cat has a home. It was in the mission district of SF, and the area is a mixed, crowded, small business/residential area. The parking scene is always impossible, so i'm sure if the cat does not belong to one of the houses, it is fed by one or more of the commuters who work around there, as well as by several of the residents of the area. It looks friendly and used to people, so I think it is not homeless, and definitely not feral. I'm seeing mutual trust and reaching out - as things really always ought to be everywhere.
