All along the Drake's Bay beach there were many dead crabs.
This must explain the presence of this scavenging Turkey Vulture.
He gets to eat (not quite fresh) crab, each and every meal. [ugly red-head!]

I found these mostly intact, clean, crab carapace shells while also scavenging the beach;
along with a nicely layered, sedimentary sandstone pebble.
