Last week when djaza and I went to Limantour Beach, we stopped in Pt. Reyes Station for coffee, and then wandered around a little before heading out to the coast. In a small gallery I saw this print and thought of you, asakiyume. It was my first picture of the day.

After our long walk along the shore, we were just going back to the parking area when we heard this giant crow up in a pine tree. It had a very wide vocabulary of sounds and I thought maybe it had learned to speak in the language of its other bird neighbors. Here is this big guy up in the pine tree; my last picture of the day.
