This is at the Marin Headlands and shows two large identical houses for army personnel - I'm thinking it was for two high ranking officers, maybe from WW2 and later, for an abandoned cold war Nike base which is just a quarter mile away. I don't know who is living there now, maybe park rangers or National Park Service families. They are just a short stroll away from the two main buildings of the Headlands Center for the Arts, which is located in this Golden Gate National Recreation Area, just north of the Golden Gate Strait. All the buildings in the park are old reclaimed military buildings.
