D. Cameron is tooting the "more bombing :Daesh" horn this morning. Aerial bombing didn't work in WW1, WW2, Viet Nam, etc... maybe this time, huh. Anyway, the banks will make a bundle.
In other repeating news, it's Thanksgiving here in Amnesia land. I wonder if you will be celebrating this old US holiday, which is our best one since it is not Religeo-centered, nor a flag waving affair. Even if you are not celebrating, Happy Thanksgiving anyway. Maybe by some paranormal miracle it will be a new beginning in world peace, with cooperation and understanding among all of us... and lead to a wonderful, workable, and successful outcome at the Paris Climate Summit.
Yeah, the response to the events in Paris has been more than usually disheartening. :(
I do normally celebrate Thanksgiving. This year, though, I'm too tired to organise something. Also, we're going to Leeds this weekend to visit the bloke's sister & family, and they're vegetarian, and it's just not the same with tofurkey (which they probably wouldn't eat either!). So I rang my parents tonight and they've agreed to eat an extra slice of pie on my behalf at the celebration they're going to.
I will be hoping your vision comes to pass. Peace to you and yours!
