She was standing alone next to four noisy guys who were talking to each other and creating a scene. All were waiting to cross the Embarcadero in front of the Ferry Building. I took four pictures of the group and this and other women. This fourth one, this woman looked up and glanced to her left.
I thought for quite a while (since February) how to display this picture, cropping, then cropping more, and then still more. Finally I decided that she was the most interesting person over there: self contained, while all the others were acting and posing, displaying their trumpish braggadocio. Who wants to see any more of that? I cropped it way down to only include her, which is why it got so grainy. The grittiness seems to fit with her glance as she prepares her "device".
