Thanks tyger. I haven't posted there for a longtime. I occasionally see new posters there at DWW on my friends list.
After photobucket crapped out I kind of lost interest in LJ for awhile. Now that I'm more interested in drawing pictures and posting them, DWW seems even further away.
Have you found that DW is more interesting than it was before because so many LJ people moved over to disassociate from Russian LJ? I'd had a DW journal for several years and had trouble finding friends like the ones I had at LJ. Very few good photographers, nothing like DWW; an art desert. My few active LJ friends split. Some stayed over there, others are now here. Well, probably it will all poop out with the looming death of net neutrality.
I used to post there all the time, but I stopped even before the Russians led me to leave lj altogether, because the moderator was heavy-handed and in a weird way, sending me email that he was deleting something I posted a year earlier and not even saying what was in the picture. Like, you don't post for years, and you give a crap about what goes on there a year ago?
My pictures and videos from my smartphone are about half on Instagram, and the rest, along with camera pictures, are on facebook. I really enjoy wasting time looking at other people's pictures on Instagram.
I had friended that moderator's journal; I think he was EdBook. He got heavy handed as a friend too. I can't remember what happened but I recall he started berating me for something that was none of his business, and that had nothing to do with me anyway. Maybe he was lecturing me on photography ethics or something too. We can discuss things, but back off Booker. Anyway, it was hot potato time for him and I unfriended him right away. It was a way long time ago.
