How many miserable send-offs and anxiety ridden 'welcomes' from this place I can resurrect. I'm not sad to see it obliterated; was a depressing vacuous derelict anyway.
It was kind of liberating though, to exit the terminal after these ordeals and board the always waiting streetcar for home. Any of them would do, they all went down Market. I'd probably stop at Go-Getters for some cheer, then back across over to my place on Elgin. Hopping the streetcar... It felt and still feels like being self assured, and a real San Franciscan: liberating again, yes, to do that. I'd revive just moving forward and I knew it. I'm lucky that way.
