duccioThis small bright painting was auctioned on Sunday around noon. It shone out fresh and clear from all of the darkened oil paintings around it. I checked it out and, of course, it's a gouache. Here is what the catalog said about this one.

This painting bid up to a hammer price of $3750.00 which will be about $4800.00 with the commission and taxes. I like posting a few of these auction paintings and items every month, the ones that seem interesting to me more than the hundreds of other things around in there, because once they are auctioned, they will disappear again. This is the only small window I will have to see them and share them around here a little. Some of you like them.
