They won a lot of stuff. Mom's poker face lightened up with each win, then would go "all business" with each new lot they would decide to bid on. The auctioneer Redge Martin enjoyed working with these two. The auction house is a fun place. I spend hours there with djaza every month, people watching, treasure hunting, and sometimes bidding.
