I took a walk yesterday around 6PM. I walked to the quickie mart on Old Wilson, picked up some André for music listening and singing as I woodworked into the night. I only had to glue things and clamp them - no electric tools; a perfect opportunity. I came back on hilly Farrigut St. and things looked like this. That's looking SSE to St. Vincent's Hill, part of the historic district. I listened to Jean-Henri d'Anglebert until about midnight while I did my work.

I think the short unmeasured Prelude is very fine, and was played especially well.
That's my town up there, which granted, some people regard as the pits. But then, I live here, and I can hear d'Anglebert from the hills as I walk. Can you, high and mighties?

What a wonderful post! That cloud in the photo looks like it is watching over your town. I read the Wikipedia article on Vallejo. The Carquinez Bridge is etched in my mind because it is very scary to drive over. However I love bridges. They are awesome like skyscrapers.

The music is beautiful. I used to listen to this kind of music when I was a teenager.
